Sara B's ATC for July

Here is my ATC sample for July:

Details:

Paper- Halfway Cafe by Cosmo Cricket

Stamps: Just Rite Stampers pre-inked Stamps

Ink: Black, Archival

Other: Distressed Crackle Paint by Ranger (Tim Holtz),

Cuttlebug Embossing Folder, Distressed Embossing by Ranger (Tim Holtz- Faux Stitching)

Ranger products are my favorite to use while creating ATC's, they are easy to work with and add such a variety of texture to whatever you are creating! I also used 2 of my favy techniques- ripping & dry embossing.

Happy Scrappin'!

xoxo

An ATC for July to say Thanks!

Here's the challenges for July at Scrap Around the Clock that we were set this month.

Layout Criteria:

to use 4 or more buttons
monochromatic theme (1 colour and black and white)
journalliing has to be at least 20 words

ATC criteria:

Thank you theme ATC

Here's what I came up with for my Thank You ATC:

Played around with some paint and stamp medium for this one and stamped flowers onto my background patterned paper. Had fun with this one. Love the challenges and the great people on the forum. Why now head over and check them out. They have all done some amazing work, that's for sure !

Why not head over and give it go. You will have a chance of winning a $10 voucher from Scrap Therapy if you do !

Sandra's ATC for July

Here's my ATC for July. I've used Twinkling H2Os for the paint on the background. It has a lovely sparkle to it but can't really see it in the photo.

Sarah C's Thank You ATC

Here's my Thank you ATC.

I started by layering two images from the new Pixie Chicks downloads, before printing them onto photo paper. I covered the base of my ATC with lilac squared paper and tore corners from another sheet of PP. Buttons were sewn onto these before glueing them down. I used my vintage acrylic paint dabber to distress the papers, then I added my pixie and distressed her too. The sentiment (distressed too) is also from the Pixie Chicks and I've used foam pads to lift it.

Amanda's July Layout

Here's my Layout for July :) I chose pink as my colour, which was fun as I don't usually use much pink!

I'm looking forward to seeing everyone's creations this month!

Byclops' July Page

Hey everyone! Just a reminder that the criteria for the July layouts are as follows:

* to use 4 or more buttons
* monochromatic theme (1 colour and black and white)
* journalliing has to be at least 20 words

Here is my take on the challenge...

You should be able to click on the photo for a larger version. It's a photo of me on my wedding day, and in the same spot 5 & 1/2 years later. I've used Kaiser (Dash Away Vixen, left over from Christmas!) as the backing, and a random piece of K & Company I had in my stash. I've used one main piece, and then out of the scraps cut with the pattern and inked up the pieces and layered them with foam. The alphas are white foam Thickers that i've inked up a little, and I used some green tara string through the buttons.

Cant wait to see what everyone comes up with :)
